FORT VALLEY, Ga. — A Fort Valley man is dead after being shot according to Fort Valley Chief Investigator Tellas Daniels.
20-year-old Morray Alexander Ross was shot around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday just days after his birthday Daniels said.
Ross was shot on another street but was able to walk to the Jason Family Food Mart in the 400 block of Camellia Road, according to Coroner Kerry Rooks.
Ross collapsed in from of the food mart and was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Rooks says his body was taken to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
Both the Coroner and the Fort Valley Police say that Ross was shot multiple times.
