Semi-truck wreck blocks lanes on I-75 north in Monroe County

A wreck involving two semi-trucks on I-75 north right before Rumble Road blocked lanes Wednesday morning.

MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — Update, 8:50 a.m.

The roadway should be clear now.

Traffic on I-75 north is backed up until I-475, after a wreck in Monroe County Wednesday morning.

A tweet from the Georgia Department of Transportation says the wreck involved two semi-trucks right before Rumble Road.

It's blocked three of four lanes, GDOT says.

They expect to clear the wreck within an hour.
